I move amendment No. 62:
The aim of the amendment is to prohibit contracts that compel suppliers to incur costs using third party suppliers specified by the purchaser. Again, it is one of those pinch-points where suppliers can have undue pressure put on them.
In page 83, between lines 27 and 28, to insert the following:“(iii) in respect of requiring a supplier to obtain any goods or services from a third party from whom the relevant grocery goods undertaking receives payment for this arrangement,”.
