In accordance with Standing Order 87 the following message will be sent to the Dáil:


The Select Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality has completed its consideration of the following motions: That Dáil Éireann approves the report by the Minister for Defence regarding service by the Defence Forces with the United Nations in 2013, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th March, 2014, in accordance with Section 13 of the Defence (Amendment) Act 2006.”andThat the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the report by the Minister for Defence regarding service by the Defence Forces with the United Nations in 2013, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 11th March 2014, in accordance with section 13 of the Defence (Amendment) Act 2006, to be referred to the Select Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality, in accordance with Stranding Order 82A(3)(b) and paragraph (8) of the Orders of Reference of Select Committees, which, not later than 8th April, 2014, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 87, and Standing Order 86(2) shall accordingly apply.".

The select committee adjourned at 4.15 p.m. sine die.
