How is our society doing compared to other European countries and worldwide from a statistical perspective? What can we do as a society to prevent this? Are public intervention and awareness campaigns the way to go? I know Mr. Hennessy referred to that in the submission. Would that be effective? Is there any evidence internationally that those kinds of public awareness campaigns are working?
