I agree with Deputy Lyons in regard to the language used. I am a voluntary director. One of the key issues is the volume of material which people must read. Most do not do so and simply take on board what they believe are the responsibilities of a director. A key issue is to ensure use of simple and understandable language rather than legal jargon of the type we have to put up with on a daily basis.
