Again, I am considering introducing an amendment to section 103 on Report Stage to clarify whether a cancellation of shares pursuant to a reduction of company capital is an "acquisition" of shares, to remove overlap between any subsections in section 103 and clarify whether a company other than a private company limited by shares may acquire its own shares pursuant to an order of the court. This might involve an amendment to Parts 16 to 25, inclusive, of the Bill.
