The Minister has stated she will not interfere with the independence of voluntary sector bodies. What is the problem with having a clear and explicit provision in the Bill? I fail to see the rationale behind it. As the Minister agrees with me that it would be inappropriate to interfere, I ask her to show me the negative aspects of the proposal. It is only right and proper that it be clearly and explicitly written into the legislation.
