Heads of the Gambling Control Bill 2013: Discussion

11:55 am

Mr. Brian O'Connell:

Mr. Quirke, like anybody else, would support the taking of all appropriate steps to manage money laundering. My general understanding of it, and it is only a broad understanding, is that much of it is to do with recording the people who come and go and identification. In other words, people must identify themselves, and that identification is the first step. However, whatever the appropriate structures are for dealing with control of money laundering - I do not have any expertise in that area - they would be thoroughly approved by Mr. Quirke.

What was the Senator's other question?
