I will open the public session of today's meeting with an expression of sympathy. Members may be aware that the mother of Deputy Higgins passed away earlier this morning. On my own behalf and that of the joint committee, I wish to express my sympathy to Deputy Higgins and his family at this difficult time. Is it agreed to note this formally in the minutes? Agreed.
