That letter is poorly phrased, but you will have to ask the chief executive. You may say I should have seen it before it went. I have to be frank: I do not think it is my responsibility to edit a letter from the CEO to another member of the board in his or her capacity in the Department. If there had been any issues between Ms Mary Moylan and Mr. Paul Maloney I would be confident that one or other of them would have brought it to my attention.
