Is it agreed that the proposals listed in Schedule B do not warrant further scrutiny? Agreed.

Four of the proposals listed in Schedule A are grouped together. COM (2013) 260 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council regarding animal health. COM (2013) 262 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on the production and making available on the market of plant reproductive material. COM (2013) 265 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on official controls and other official activities. COM (2013) 267 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on protective measures against pests of plants. It is proposed that these proposals warrant further scrutiny and, as such, we request officials from the lead Department to attend before the committee to give a full explanation of the proposals in order to assist us in our scrutiny of them. The committee can then decide whether it wishes to take further action. Is that agreed? Agreed.

The remaining proposal, COM (2013) 245, is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 1198/2006 and Council Regulation (EC) No. XXX/2011 on integrated maritime policy. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.
