Special Report No. 77 of the Comptroller and Auditor General: Dublin Docklands Development Authority (Resumed)
12:00 pm
Ms Mary Moylan:
I thank the Deputy. Yes, the executive did advise that the tender was being made in the context of an overheated market but the executive went on, nevertheless, to recommend that the authority should get involved in the acquisition of the site. It is in the paper of 20 October. It is at the start of the paper in 1.3. The reference to the bid being made in the context of the overheated commercial market is at paragraph 13.2.2 but at 1.3, in the summary of the document, the executive does recommend that the authority should make a joint bid with Mr. McNamara to purchase the site.
