In accordance with Standing Order 87, the following message will be sent to the Dáil:


The Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality has completed its consideration of the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of the euro and other currencies against counterfeiting by criminal law and replacing Council Framework Decision 2000/383/JHA, a copy of which was laid before Dáil Éireann on 15 February 2013.
In accordance with Standing Order 73, the following message will be sent to the Seanad:
The Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality has completed its consideration of the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of the euro and other currencies against counterfeiting by criminal law and replacing Council Framework Decision 2000/383/JHA, a copy of which was laid before Seanad Éireann on 15 February 2013.

The joint committee went into private session at 2.40 p.m. and adjourned at 2.45 p.m. until Wednesday, 8 May 2013.
