Resuming in public session, we will continue our scrutiny of COM (2011) 690, COM (2011) 789, COM (2012) 118, COM (2012) 120, COM (2012) 236 and COM (2012) 697. COM (2011) 690 is a proposal for a Council decision on the accession of the European Union to the protocol for the protection of the Mediterranean Sea against pollution resulting from exploration and exploitation of the continental shelf and the seabed and its subsoil. Does any member wish to comment? If not, it is proposed the proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2011) 789 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on a mechanism for monitoring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions and for reporting other information at national and Union level relevant to climate change. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2012) 118 is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on ship recycling. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2012) 120 is a proposal for a Council decision requiring member states to ratify or to accede to the Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships 2009 in the interests of the European Union. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2012) 236 is a proposal for a Council decision on the conclusion of the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur supplementary protocol on liability and redress to the Cartagena protocol on biosafety. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2012) 697 is a proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council derogating temporarily from Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a scheme for greenhouse gas emissions allowance trading within the Community. It is proposed that the proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.
