Before I pass over to my colleagues, in general it is recognised by Ministers that we provide a huge amount of public service broadcasting. I suppose a recognition that public service broadcasting, in all its guises, whether on the State-owned broadcaster or through our independent members, is supported and the creation of a fund whereby public money could be used for public service broadcasting in a manner that is cost-effective, accountable, value for money, and provides a good service to the listeners.
