No. It was one of the summer courses. It will be offered again as one of the summer courses this year as well, with a view to its content will be made available to teachers online thereafter. None of those courses is compulsory.

There are primary teachers using Scratch but the emphasis is still on literacy and numeracy benefits of it, not as a programming discipline per se.
