The first item on the agenda is the draft minutes of the meeting of 21 November. These have been circulated to members. Are they agreed? Agreed. Unless there are any matters arising, I propose to proceed with the main business of the meeting.

Will we be dealing with one item or two at this meeting?

We will be dealing with two, namely, the Senator's motion and a presentation from Médecins Sans Frontières. We will be taking the Senator's motion second, if that is acceptable.

I believe the Senator will be interested to hear what our guests have to say with regard to the situation in Syria.

Absolutely. I am a big fan of Médecins Sans Frontières and am of the view that those who work for it are immensely courageous.
