We have a quorum. Draft minutes of our meeting of 14 November 2012 have been circulated to members. Are the minutes agreed? Agreed. As there are no matters arising from the minutes we will proceed to the main business of the committee.

I remind members and those in the Visitors' Gallery to ensure their mobile telephones are switched off completely for the duration of the meeting, as they cause interference with the recording equipment even when on silent mode. I would appreciate co-operation in this regard because we have had problems with mobile telephone interference in recent meetings. This interference is particularly problematic when our meetings are covered by "Oireachtas Report".
