Is the EPA dealing with this agency in respect of Northern Ireland because, as I said earlier, geology knows no borders. It is already evident that the activities they are proposing to undertake in County Fermanagh will have a direct impact across the Border in Leitrim because it contains part of the same north-western shale area. Where does that leave the EPA? What would happen if the EPA comes down against hydraulic fracking as having an adverse impact on the environment but Northern Ireland goes ahead with fracking? The British Government is now considering offering tax incentives to fracking companies. Where does that leave us because it will have a direct impact on our environment?
