We had a meeting concerning social insurance and a presentation about the KPMG report. That was one of the issues raised by Deputies and Senators. The 17% figure arises as the fund has a shortfall of approximately €1.5 billion this year and will have a shortfall of €3 billion in four years. There will be a major shortfall in years to come if nothing is done. The 17% figure comes from an assumption that the shortfall cannot be widened further.
