The witnesses are all very welcome, although to appear before the Committee of Public Accounts for a third consecutive year in a row following issues highlighted by the Comptroller and Auditor General is not something to be proud of. The report of the Comptroller and Auditor General and the financial statements reveal serious governance issues, internal control weaknesses and poor value-for-money practices.
