Collection of Farm Plastics: Discussion

Mr. Liam Moloney:
It can be a bit confusing. If you look at our accounts, the reserve is total assets minus total liability, which is the truest reflection of the financial health of a company. We had €1.7 million in the reserve at the end of last year. We would expect that to maybe go back to €2.5 million or €3 million by the end of this year. Within that, we are setting up a contingency fund, which is money that is locked away and can only be accessed in exceptional circumstances with the co-operation of the Department. We expect that contingency fund to be at €700,000 at the end of the year. It can be a bit confusing but I hope that has explains it.
