Much to my embarrassment, I do not have a lot of Irish. I apologise profusely. I am not quite there yet to be able to ask this question sufficiently through Irish. I do not want my inability to have an impact on the question. Is the coimisinéir aware of a document, Autism Good Practice Guidance For Schools, that the Government published in 2022? It states:

Autistic students whose first/preferred language is Irish or who attend Irish medium schools, should be taught through Irish as this is the language which is used in their school environment.

It has recently come to my attention that when a Gaelscoil in my constituency was approached by the NCSE to open a second ASD class, it was told that technically its ASD class should be run in English and that there needed to be flexibility around tumoideachas. I ask the commissioner's opinion on that.
