Having been on the previous Oireachtas committee for the past five years, I am afraid that there is a Groundhog Day element to some of the discussion because some of these are big picture issues we have been talking about for a while. The challenge with the legislation is that ultimately we need to see public service broadcasting as a public good but, equally, it is critically important that we ensure Irish voices and Irish stories are told nationally and internationally. We have had great success. "An Cailín Ciúin" is a excellent example of that, and it is a coproduction which is a model for what we need to achieve.

I am conscious of time. I will ask two related questions and I would like to get quick answers to each. Are we being ambitious in this legislation? If we are to achieve the goals we want to achieve, what is the one thing the witnesses would like to see, bearing in mind the the Future of Media Commission reports as well? The two questions are related. Perhaps each of the groups could have one minute each.
