When we are talking about FRT, it can be applied to almost any imagery - video and photographic - so in terms of the scale and scope, it is an entirely different level. When we are comparing it to other technologies, I think we need to keep that in mind. Thinking about things like the chilling effect, function creep, net widening and, as Dr. Murray said, the stigmatisation that can impact already marginalised communities is key. We need to know what the referent database is, and a lot of particulars from the vendors would need to be under consideration as well.
