One issue that is immediately obvious is that we can invite the Housing Agency, the authority and the Department in but so much of this matter is bound up with local authorities whom we cannot invite. I would like all three groups present to outline the role that local authorities will have in the oversight of AHBs and their spending and the oversight for the Department in respect of social housing support schemes, and I ask the Housing Agency to list all of its interactions with local authorities. How can we have a joined-up view of what is happening when we cannot extend an invitation to a large part of the State's apparatus? I want to understand the relationships, particularly concerning the regulator and generally. I want to know how we can optimise oversight.
