I thank the Deputy for covering that. There were very important issues there that go to the heart of the problem. With regard to the points race and system, what people often miss in the public discourse on this is that the points system is entirely designed and controlled by the higher education institutions. They can change it any way they like, whether good, bad or indifferent.

There is nothing good or bad we could do in relation to it. That is important. The Deputy also makes the very valid point-----
