Back in early 2019, we first started hearing reports from the US about lung injuries and the illness subsequently known as e-cigarette or vaping product use associated lung injury. I remember the first day a news headline on RTÉ indicated that someone had died from vaping. I was asking "What is this?" All of a sudden, I think they had hundreds of people, it said, who had died from vaping. When you read more into it, it was not vaping per sethat caused these illnesses and deaths.
