Currently there are 94 children in Cork growing up in emergency accommodation. They are seeing people being allowed to leave homes empty and go derelict all around them. What message does that send to these children? It is that they are less important, that they are not deserving of a home but others can leave their spaces empty for as long as they want without any repercussions.
