The answers to that question is "Yes". There is a need for more expertise. For example, because of the current backlog there is no processing of native woodland conservation applications. Yes, it would be good to have greater recruitment of people with environmental science qualifications and more fire service inspectors as well. They need quite a number of additional staff.
