1:40 pm

Of concern is the number of young people who are engaging in drink driving. Reference was made in one of the presentations to a study on why the incidence of drink drinking among young drivers appears to be increasing, noting that it was previously on a downward trend. From Mr. Cribben's experience of working in the industry, what is the reason for this change in the downward trend among young people? Historically, this was more common among older generations because they found it hard to change with the times, drink driving laws having been more liberal in the past. In Mr. Cribben's opinion, why are young people engaging in this practice?
