What about the Commissioner's engagement with the Minister? She is accountable to the Minister. Would she not have thought it was far more appropriate to engage the Minister and indeed the Dáil, and even this committee, dare I say it, before this was released into the public domain? What steps did she take over the past couple of days and weeks in respect of this controversy and her engagement with the Minister?
