The Garda introduced a system in April, which was a temporary measure, so that it could bring in the following system. On the question of data, which is of major significance, I noted at the press conference, Assistant Commissioner Mr. Michael Finn spoke about checkpoints. He told us there was a figure of 400,000 checkpoints carried out during the period. How can we believe that figure, that 400,000 was actually the number of checkpoints conducted?
