The issues raised in the correspondence were not about the breath tests, they were about mandatory alcohol testing, MAT, checkpoints. They are two separate issues. We looked at all of the issues that were raised in the correspondence and identified all the procedures involved. We were satisfied that the issues raised in the specific areas in the correspondence were okay, but that did not stop the then deputy commissioner going along on my instruction and making sure whether there was anything else we did not know. We looked at all the procedures. This is what led to the audit or the review on the breath tests and the breath tests that were taking place. We did that. We take responsibility for making sure that we put corrections in place all of the time.
