A number of witnesses have said that the Northern Ireland portfolio was more difficult to deal with. Cerberus said it carried out research into the two jurisdictions and said it had not worked in or purchased assets in either of them previously. Was Mr. Neporent made aware of, or given to believe, there were different cultures in the two jurisdictions?
