Dr. Madden in her presentation spoke about this issue in respect of surrogacy. She said that there is no acknowledgement that many women volunteer to become surrogate mothers using their own eggs. She notes that, because there is a place for that within the legislation as they want to help others to have a child. Is she offering that view on the basis of research or evidence?
