The Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) is a key capital investment scheme which directly supports the objectives of Our Rural Future and the Town Centre First policy. The RRDF provides funding for the development and construction of large scale capital projects in towns, villages and rural areas across Ireland. Since 2020, RRDF funding of €414 million has been approved for 135 projects.

The table below sets out the funding allocated to each county from 2020 to date in 2024. Funding to date has been allocated over a series of calls for applications, with no RRDF funding allocated in the 2023 calendar year.
