To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the number of employees within his Department and bodies under the aegis of his Department who are currently suspended on full pay pending disciplinary investigations; to outline, in tabular form, the length of time these employees have been under suspension; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that one civil servant in my Department is suspended at present while a disciplinary process is underway. The person concerned has been suspended for 14 months.
There are no bodies under the aegis of the Department.
