To ask the Minister for Health if he will commit to the delivery of the 20 promised beds for adults with eating disorders; if he will provide data on the numbers of adults seeking medical support for eating disorders over the past five years; the number of those people were provided a bed for eating disorders; the number that were admitted to psychiatric units; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.

To ask the Minister for Health if he is aware that the only clinic for eating disorders serving the entire CHO9 area is currently in a temporary building with a team that is understaffed; when this clinic will be provided with a permanent building; if capacity can be increased as they currently cannot meet the demand; if increased funding will be provided for a day service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
