To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if he is aware that persons are being forced by the ESB to have a smart meter, even if they do not want one, and that if the notification is not received, the ESB will fit the meter despite the objection of the householder; if he will intercede on behalf of householders; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
