To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht her Department's working definition of public service broadcasting; if the term should be taken to imply all activity by State-owned broadcasters, or only activity taken by such broadcasters in service of a defined public service mission; if there is a definition; whether there are plans to ring-fence funding for particular activity that meets this definition; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
