To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform to clarify the number of redundancies, or so called ‘exit-packages’, that have been paid to staff or personnel at any level of seniority in his Department, or in any agency or body under the aegis of his Department, from 2018 to date; the value of each and the total value, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The table below sets out the information requested by the Deputy in respect of my Department and the bodies under its aegis. In the period since 2018, the total amount paid by my Department in this regard was €50,705 and by the Office of Public Works was €36,621. These amounts have been aggregated in order not to identify the amounts paid to any individual person. I am advised that there were no such payments in that period by any of the other bodies under the aegis of my Department.
