317. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding the emergency works grant application for a school (details supplied); if this application will be expedited to reflect genuine safety concerns; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10605/24]

The school to which the Deputy refers submitted an application for funding under the Emergency Works Scheme (EWS) for works to the school’s life safety systems. This application was assessed and approved by my Department and the school has been informed of this approval.
