588. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will provide this Deputy with a copy of the contract that exists between his Department and the operators of a facility that does not include visibility of monetary sums and terms (details supplied). [10571/24]

My Department is contracting emergency and short-term accommodation across the country in order to accommodate people who are seeking international protection.
Contractual arrangements for the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS) accommodation centres are deemed confidential and commercially sensitive.
It would not serve the public interest to divulge the details of contracts, as it could prejudice the Department's negotiating position to deliver value for money with respect to other accommodation providers and locations.
