To ask the Minister for Health if he will revise the national treatment purchase fund calculation mechanism for funding fair deal stays in not-for-profit charitable nursing homes, such as Cahercalla Community Hospital in Ennis and Carrigoran Nursing Home, Newmarket-on-Fergus, to reflect rising costs in providing healthcare along with incidental costs often arising from HIQA inspections; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
