To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 193 of 13 December 2023, if the BISS/CRISS payment levels cited included or excluded greening payments/eco-schemes; the number of farmers in receipt of a greening/eco-scheme in Monaghan in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023; the average payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The figures cited in response to Parliamentary Question No. 193 of 13 December 2023 related solely to BPS for the years 2019 - 2022 and BISS/CRISS for 2023.

The Eco-Scheme was introduced as part of the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) 2023-2027. The number of eligible farmers in County Monaghan who have received a payment under the Eco-Scheme in 2023 to date, and the average payment per farmer are shown in the table below:
