75. To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the legal actions and actions of instances being taken against his Department for failure to implement EU directives; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [56685/23]

The European Commission identifies possible infringements of EU law on the basis of its own investigations or following complaints from citizens, businesses or other stakeholders. Further information on the infringement process is available .

There are a total of ten such cases across my Department at present, details on each of these and the relevant Commission position on each is outlined in the table below.

Officials from my Department are working with the Commission to resolve all of these as expeditiously as possible.
