To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 72 of 18 October and 102 of 7 November 2023, if he can arrange for a member of staff to examine the case of person (details supplied), in light of the financial hardship experienced by the individual; if a resolution can be found; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the Human Resources Division of my Department are in direct and ongoing contact with the member of staff in question. Officers in Human Resources have examined the case and have confirmed to the staff member that they are on their correct pay point. They will, however, continue to assist on other related issues which have been raised by the staff member.
