To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the up-to-date position regarding plans to link the Tralee to Fenit greenway with the Listowel to Limerick greenway via Ardfert, Abbeydorney and Lixnaw; the up-to-date timeline for the completion of the project; if a segregated cycle lane spur to Ardfert village/Banna beach will be included in the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to Greenways. Funding is administered through the Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) who, in partnership with local authorities, have responsibility for the selection and development of specific projects in each local authority area.
