149. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will review outstanding invoices for an accommodation provider (details supplied) and if their invoices can be paid without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51420/23]

I am advised by my officials that they have engaged with the provider regarding issues with the outstanding invoices to which the Deputy refers. Once valid invoices are received, they will be reviewed and paid promptly.

Whilst there have been some delays in payment due to the very large volume of invoices received, over the past few months my Department has put in place a system which has greatly improved processing times. The Department is also working towards additional automation in the system which is expected to further streamline the process.
