To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if his Department engages with local authorities regarding planning applications for residential or day services for people with disabilities; if his Department monitors the level of refusals; and if his Department is aware of any local authority where there has been multiple refusals for planning permission or retention relating to the provision of residential or day services for people with disabilities. My Department has no role in relation to planning applications for day or residential services, and has not had any contact with local authorities in this regard.
